ATLANTA, GA – (APRIL 25, 2016) – Enercon Services, Inc. (ENERCON), a $300M/30+ year professional engineering services firm announces that Mr. Christopher (Chris) Stammen has joined ENERCON as the Vice President of their Fossil and Renewable Generation, and Power Delivery Division. Mr. Stammen comes to ENERCON from General Electric Company (GE) where he held various leadership roles since joining GE in 1995. As the Director of Engineering for GE’s Onsite Power Solutions Division in Atlanta, Chris had responsibility for driving organic and inorganic growth, including profitability for the division. In this position, Chris also had responsibility for leading all technical aspects of the business.
Chris’s experience with GE in their power sector, along with recent leadership positions in GE’s petrochemical, refining, and fertilizer segments, provide him with extensive knowledge and a customer base in the electrical distribution, water, and power generation business areas. His experience will be extremely valuable to ENERCON as the company strengthens its focus on new growth opportunities in the power delivery, industrial, fossil and renewable power industries.
Mr. Stammen graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He then went on to earn an MBA from Georgia State University here in Atlanta. Mr. Stammen brings over 30 years of experience and a proven track of success in operations management, technical sales and marketing, corporate and plant engineering, consulting and strategic planning.
