A 362 natural gas line running adjacent to a natural gas-fired power plant in Texas ruptured. Within minutes, a massive explosion and fire consumed the plant. Over 60% of the plant sustained heavy damage. Electric utilities, demineralized water system, cooling tower, chemical treatment systems, and the two turbine generators suffered the greatest damage. ENERCON quickly mobilized to complete damage assessments and produce work packages to expedite the recovery process. We have also supported recovery off site from floods and other disasters.
