Early Site Permit

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issues an Early Site Permit (ESP) for approval of a site for future construction of a nuclear power plant. The ESP allows for early resolution of site safety, environmental and emergency planning issues to assure that a proposed site is suitable for a nuclear power plant. ENERCON completes all major activities necessary for the successful submittal of an ESP application, including preparation of the Site Safety Analysis Report, Environmental Report, emergency planning information, and other administrative information. The Company provides comprehensive licensing support throughout preparation of the license application.
