ENERCON engineering and environmental consulting staff perform all aspects of new plant site selection. ENERCON works with clients to clearly articulate business needs, to understand business goals and objectives, and apply these elements to site identification and selection. The Company applies a diverse range of exclusionary criteria to the region of interest in order to establish viable areas for consideration. Using sophisticated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools, the ENERCON team then layers key requirements with the exclusionary criteria. Starting with the entire United States or just a service area, sites are located. Through increasingly detailed application of exclusionary and suitability criteria, a meticulously crafted selection process is executed to identify a preferred site.
