ENERCON's Environmental Services Group (ESG) brings together professional engineers, certified health physicists, industrial hygienists, and safety professionals, along with experienced environmental specialists to form a team with the knowledge and hands-on experience to solve complex technical problems. ENERCON’s experience has included all levels of local, state, and federal environmental compliance.
ENERCON’s ESG key service areas include, but are not limited to: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) environmental review and compliance; site selection; new facility construction and operation permitting; all aspects of biological/ecological evaluations; natural resources management and compliance; due diligence; soil and groundwater investigations; solid and hazardous waste management, permitting, and disposal; site remediation; and decommissioning. We serve the power, renewable energy, and oil and gas industries, as well as the highway transportation industry, and financial/real estate development market. We hold current contracts with the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); we have a National General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule for Environmental Services, and we provide services to many local and state government clients.
ENERCON is currently supporting site selection for new biomass facilities, nuclear and fossil power generation, wind generation, and power delivery. ENERCON offers extensive expertise in environmental support of construction and operations - with direct experience in preparation and post-submittal support of air permitting, water appropriations, wastewater discharges permitting, Clean Water Act (CWA) 316(b) assessments, CWA 404 permitting for projects that may impact wetlands, and if necessary decommissioning of existing plants.
