ENERCON offers a wide range of services for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting support to utilities and industrial clients based on our strong capabilities in analyzing water features, resource permitting, and impact mitigation. As these permit applications become increasingly complex with additional requirements for both point and non-point sources, ENERCON’s team of biologists, aquatic ecologists, environmental engineers, and environmental specialists provide evaluation and compliance solutions for all types of aquatic environments. These services include:
- Preparation of NPDES individual and national permit applications. Anticipated effluent conditions including site evaluations of grading and drainage conditions, operational and material handling and storage procedures, and sampling and reporting protocols.
- Water quality monitoring support in development of sampling plans, sample collection location identification, analytical methods and limits to be used, and performance of field activities.
- Development of water quality, mixing zone, and effluent dispersion models for receiving water bodies.
- Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development and recommendations for and implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs). ENERCON has extensive experience in the development of these plans for a wide range of utility and industrial facilities, including civil design engineering for grading and drainage modifications to minimize stormwater runoff.
