Power Uprate Implementation
Entergy's Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Plant

ENERCON provided all of the Balance of Plant analyses, calculations, and design modifications to support an 8% power uprate at Entergy's Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Plant, up from the previous 1.5% uprate. ENERCON was responsible for preparing design modification packages where equipment had to be replaced to support the power uprate and for preparing all of the design basis documentation, including calculations and analyses for the balance of plant activities associated with the uprate. Following implementation of the uprate, the plant proceeded through startup and power ascension with no operational occurrences. This was the largest power uprate that had been completed for a Pressurized Water Reactor in the United States at that time.
