“Ask me something about myself, or give me an opportunity to say something about myself, and my first answer will always be “I am originally from Puerto Rico”. No matter how long I’ve lived outside of my beautiful island or how far I am from it, it is something I feel identifies me and describes a lot about who I am. I want the love for my people to be as noticeable as my accent! As much as I work hard for my family and to improve myself, I work hard to give Puerto Ricans and other fellow Hispanics a good name. After living in Atlanta for 14 years, my Hispanic identity has served as strength to continue to better myself and to try to help others be better.  I am proud to be an engineer, Hispanic, and above all, Puerto Rican.”
