Enercon Environmental Services (ENERCON) is pleased to announce Jason Manassee as the new Environmental Business Development/Sector Lead for Renewables & Utilities, focusing on driving the strategic growth of Environmental Services for the Renewables and Utilities sector.
Jason joins ENERCON with 30 years of environmental, land use, and utility experience gained across the Utility industry, Consulting/Engineering, and Local & Federal government work. For the past 14 years, Jason has been with Xcel Energy holding several senior roles performing siting analysis and due diligence for electric and gas transmission, power generation facilities, including solar and other renewable developments.
Earlier in his career, upon graduation from the Evergreen State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, he joined the planning team at Mason County Department of Community Development as a Senior Planner with a focus on natural resource planning and land use. A few years later he was introduced to the Power market when he joined AECOM.
Jason brings broad NEPA experience working in the context of federal permitting actions on military installations and utility construction on Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands. He has also gained valuable experience in project management, cultural resource management, and water resources. He has successfully retained clients through building strong client relationships and consistently delivering on commitments and more importantly, Jason having worked on the customer side for one of the premier utility companies in the US (Xcel Energy), will bring a valuable perspective to ENERCON’s commercial and business development efforts.
