2023-ERES-MKT-Image-Owners-Engineering-circle-1ENERCON has performed extensive Owner’s Engineering services for two major utility fleets.  In this role, ENERCON’s work included, but not limited to:

  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and technical requirements;
  • Support projects in determining project risk and mitigation strategies;
  • Support management interface, challenge boards, and high-risk meeting;
  • Perform walkdowns to assist with collecting design inputs for vendor(s) and EOC design packages;
  • Submit design inputs formally to vendor(s) and EOCs;
  • Define acceptable bidders and solicit and evaluate bids;
  • Attend project kickoff, recurring meetings, and design review meetings, as required;
  • Interface with vendor(s) and the Engineer (often the Engineer of Choice) who was preparing the modification package;
  • Review deliverables for compliance with SOW/Contract;
  • Ensure Engineering, Planning/Implementation, and Stakeholder reviews are occurring and on schedule, evaluate comments for applicability, resolve discrepancies and filter comments as required, and provide a consolidated set of comments for all deliverables;
  • Approve deliverables and design packages prior to acceptance by Client;
  • Work with the Implementation Team to plan installation, including establishing communication plans, schedule, manpower estimates, shipping, storage and laydown, haul routes, lifting/rigging plans, and testing;
  • Perform receipt inspection of components to ensure compliance with drawings and requirements, and to identify potential issues prior to installation; and
  • Support installation, testing, and turnover of all work to Operations.
