This past week, ENERCON’s Data Center Mission Critical Division gave out awards for Leadership, Business Development, and Technical Excellence to the managers who are leading New Build Data Center hyperscale projects. Structural Engineering Manager, Pedram Farokh, Mechanical Engineering Manager, Daniel Kim, Electrical Design Engineering Manager, Chris Harwell, and Lead Principal Electrical Engineer, Rozana Bashir, were all given awards for the division’s outstanding achievements in these areas.
They all demonstrated the ENERCON Difference by partnering with the client, being responsive and delivering on new AI Liquid Cooled Data Center campus projects, designed for the latest cooling technologies and the highest redundancy/structural resiliency goals. These managers have designed multiple campuses at once including several 50MW Data Centers, Ancillary buildings, and in-house Water Treatment buildings supported by ENERCON’s environmental team, which were first-of-a-kind designs without a finalized template developed by the client. Pedram and the structural team also supported structural template design studies for the client to help develop the best balance of cost-effective, sustainable design while standardizing and simplifying future supply chain of the structural steel across the country.
The hard work of these managers, their engineering teams and PM teams represent ENERCON’s capability to support any Data Center design project, especially challenging projects which may not have a template developed. They are well deserving of this award exemplifying both ENERCON’s commitment to Excellence and Data Center Mission Critical’s principles of Quality, Innovation, and Responsiveness.
